When I have dark spots or any issues with bad pigmentation, I always use clear essence. Clear Essence toner consistently gets results within 2 weeks. It might seem like a while, but it always works.
I love every Clear Essence product that I’ve tried, but this astringent is best – mild and soothing.

This is my favorite astringent from Clear Essence – does everything you want an astringent to do: cleanses my skin, fights oil, and tightens my pores. Using it after a cleaning my face makes my skin feel great!

Finally a toner that I can use that leaves my skin feeling super refreshed and clean. I have oily acne prone skin. Tried many different brands afterwards and nothing really felt good on my skin and they all made my skin feeling more irritated and itchy.
This toner/astringent feels very soothing with a very slight tingly feeling.
So far, after using the toner on my skin for the past 2 weeks, I have not had any breakouts at all. Plus it seems to calm my oily skin to a minimum and not so shiny.

Cleans and tones. It lessens the appearance of fine lines. It gives a smoother and younger look. But it can cause breaks out in certain areas.

This product would of got 5 stars if my son was reviewing it but i gave it 3 stars because it burnt my skin.
#Caution DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN! it burnt my skin and marked my skin.
However my son does NOT have sensitive skin and it worked great for him.
So if your skin is NOT sensitive its ok but if it IS SENSITIVE , avoid this product.

I have a very sensitive and oily skin and for several years could not get any cleanser that was good for me. It will either be too mild and not not remove the oil, or be too strong and give me blotches. I find this to be totally different. It removes all the oil and dirt and yet my will not dry up my skin. I even think it is also a moisturiser because for days I may not use any moisturer and my skin will still be fresh, and I am over 40. The size of my pores has also reduced considerably.
I’m om my second bottle which is less than half and was going to order a third one so that I will not be without it when I saw a reminder to write a review. The only thing that needs to be improved is the cover. The inside lining that helps to preserve the cleanser comes off within two days. I threw it away the first time only to discover the cleanser was evaporating, so in the second bottle I have to be struggling keep it in place.

It removes dead skin and spots. I have been using this for a long time, going to 8 or 9 years now. Always works the same. No other cleanser worrks good on my face as the clear essence anti-aging cleanser. It lightens and maintains your natural color too. No bleaching. Just great.

As a proud woman of colour, I find this astringent just perfect for my acne prone skin. After using in my ears, on my neck, and face I experienced no nasty side-effects. This astringent, made my parts feel squeaky clean. My ears shined, my acne cleared, and my pores decreased in size. Nice product!

This toner astringent is amazing. I have combination skin oily in the T-zone. I use the complexion soap which has done wonders for tightening my pores and fading dark spots. After washing with any cleanser you have to use a toner like I always tell my sisters, washing alone does not clean the face and when you see the white cotton ball after swiping your face and neck you will totally understand now why you’ve been breaking out in some area’s. I also use the lemon smoothing cream for moisturizing. This product is natural with vitamin C is took about 6 weeks to fade a blemish mark on my face. I bought two of everything to give it enough time to work.
